The rapid development of internet technology brings great benefitsto people’s lives.But when people enjoy the convenience brought bythe internet,they also suffer the negative effects from internet on socialand personal life,especially the Internet Addiction Disorder of collegestudent.In recent years,researchers from socialogy and psychologyarea, clinical study focus on the study of this phenomenon.The focus ofthe study not only to treatment for internet addict,more importantly,is toidentify the factors that influent internet addict,and to take effectiveprecautions on the network users,in order to reduce the internetaddiction probability, guide the college students in using internetproperly.This study mainly explore how two factors including family andschool effect to internet addiction of college students and provideevidence for intervention measures later.Participants college studentsare from Shanghai Normol University and Shanghai Dian JiUniversity,354male,845female,who were surveyed though answeringself-designed Internet Addiction Disorder Diagnostic ScaleStudent,Family Questionnaire and school quesitonnaire.Researchmainly involves4aspects:1,do quality analysis on Internet AddictionDisorder Diagnostic Scale Student,Family Questionnaire.2,research thedifference of internet addiction among different collegestudents.3,take family and school as exogenous latent variables,takeinternet addiction as an endogenous variable,explore the effection offamily and school on internet addiction.4,study the specific factors ofrelationship among family、school and internet addiction.The resultsshow that:①According to item analysis and confirmatory factoranalysis on Internet Addiction Disorder Diagnostic Scale Student,FamilyQuestionnaire,the reliability,validity and item discrimination result of these scale is good.②7.1percent of Shanghai college students are IADin this survey, light is5.8%,moderate is1.0%,severe is0.2%.③There are nosignificant differences in sex,major and age between addicts andnon-addicts.④Using the structual model analysis showed that therelationship with their parents,parental education,patental influence infamily factors,learning environment,learning experience,interpersonal inthe school factors etc.have a significant role in the prediction ofInternet Addiction Disorder.⑤Internet Addiction has significantrelationship with a variety of factors in family,including computer inhome or not,parents’bad habits, parenting styles,satisfaction of familyrelationships.⑥Internet Addiction has significant relationship with avariety of factors in school,including school climate,teacher-studentrelationship, relationship between students,learning motivation,academic performance,school life,school performance.⑦There areno directly relations between family economic situation,parents’education levels and Internet Addiction.A variety interventionscountermeasures are recommended for schools,families and society inthe last part.
