One of the stress events which high-school students often encounters with is the failure in the exam. Comparing with the objective failure, the subjective one will impact the students’emotions and behaviors more easily. Further, how to cope with the failure also will impact the Academic Emotions and learning behaviors. Although there is much intervention study about Coping Style in our country, the study combining Coping Style with Academic Emotions is still rare. This study tries to through the intervention of high-school students’Coping Style facing the failure in the exam, to enable the students to use positive and various Coping Style, promoting their good Academic Emotions.There are two parts in this study. In the part one,238high-school students in grade one were investigated, using the Adolescents Academic Emotions Questionnaire and the Middle School Students Coping Style Scale, intended to investigate the current situation of the characteristics of Academic Emotions and Coping Style, and reveal the relationship between them. In the part two, based on the part one, two non-differential classes were selected and made to be the experimental group (59students) and the control group (58students).The study subjects of two groups (25students and21students), are selected using the self-designed questionnaires of the failure in the exam. The research subjects in the experimental group accepted Coping Style education for5weeks, in order to show the effect of the increase of the Academic Emotions and the improvement of Coping Style of high-school students.Conclusion:There was obvious gender difference in Academic Emotions; there was also difference in the region form where the students come in Coping Style; the failure in the exam would make the students experience more negative-low arousal emotions, and had little influence on coping style; The intervention of Coping Style could improving students’Academic Emotions.especially in negative-low arousal emotions; The intervention had an impact on Coping Style, and the effect would be more obvious for a longer period.
