Kang Yongqian Qing Dynasty Jiayuguan Area West Of The Expansion Of China And The Formation Of Town Di Dao

For discuss the propositions of "the ancient China" and "the ancient territory of China", in this thesis, the anthor adopt the concept-the extension of the administrate divisions-and analysis a typical case from the perspective of the concept. The typical case is researched carefully in order to know how the administer divisions were extending from Jiayuquan to Urumqi during Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong times of the Qing dynasty.On the analysis, the author obtain a schedule about when the government built up those administrate divisions.Then the author exthibiton the choroid of the extension of the administrate divisions. The author find that the country’s strategy, immigration and the regional development are the most important seasons, which urged the extension. In order to have the safe of the western, the Qing joined in the wars against the Zhunnger and the Uyghur. In order to get enough food for the soldiers, Qing dynasty have garrison peasants development the wasteland and grow food grain in the west of the Jayu Pass.At the year of1718, when the agricultural settlements arrived at the areas,the government then set the Garrisons posts,such as the Chijin, Jingni and Liugou to control them. It is also means that,the administrative division began cross out the Jayu Pass, and became popular in the Xiyu(Western Region).But at this time, the administrate divides is belonged to the army,so,the capital of those administrate divides is build on the areas where is very important on the war.The Qing own the Xinjiang,after he wins the war against of the Zhunnger. When the government decided to development the Xinjiang,the army and the immigration are the basic labors. The army’s mita regulationed the areas of the immigration and the administrative district’s region. Blong to the entering of the immigration, the Qing government built up many administrative district,and,finally built the Zhendi Dao.In general, when the war times, the strategy of the government have the most important power to build up the administrative districts.but when the peace times,the immigration and the development of the district have the voice.
