With booming of the business of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, moreand more people are studying and making research on teaching materials of thisbusiness and have had some achievement. However few researcher concentrates onthe issue of R-pronounced wording.In this thesis, I’m trying to do research on the subject of the R-pronounced wordin the current universal teaching materials in methods of survey, analysis, andstatistics. In Section1, the background doing research on the subject of R-pronouncedword and the current achievement and its inadequacy will be introduced. In the nextSection, I will make comprehensive analysis on the subject in respect of the definitionof R-pronounced word, how to write its Pin-yin and Han-zi. Upon the statistical data Ifrom the universal dictionaries, I suggested that the application of R-pronounced wordshould be defined.In Section3, I’m trying to describe how R-pounced used in the articles ofteaching materials and its influence students, undertaking a survey regarding howdeep the students R-pounced word. By comparative analysis I’m going to summarizethe issues which still exist in the current universal teaching materials.The forth part is the advices of arranging of R-pronounced words according to thefirst three parts.The fifth part is the conclusion. It summarizes the main points of the articlebriefly, and points out the limitation of this thesis.
