At the Republic of China, the newspaper is one of the best carrier of political organization to promote their political views.Public opinion polls is a good way to understand the public view. During1928-1932year, the KMT party headquarters, Shanghai, relying on the "Republic Daily, carried out the polls of anti-Japan, New Year’s Day poll, the Prime Minister to commemorate the weekly polls and opinion polls in the East Road, strived to understand the Shanghai people’s opinions on current affairs by the polls.Be guided by public opinion polls on people,the KMT party headquarters, Shanghai, wanted to know the propaganda of the Republic Daily Politics.It could be said, newspapers had a decisive influence on people’opinions.Most of the answers about the party headquarters to the poll were satisfied, but citizens had not right to accept. Stirred to the patriotic enthusiasm of the masses,"the Republic Daily poll" undoubtedly reached its desired goal.But when it involved the evaluation of the Kuomintang, the party headquarters could not be completely satisfied with the answers.It could only play a limited role.
