The research discusses the current situation of relationship between teachers and students in higher vocational colleges, and what do the students think of the relationship they experienced from the perspective of the students. In order to study in detail, questionnaire method and deep interview method are used in the research. Firstly,400students who selected by cluster sampling method from a vocational technical school in Nanjing are surveyed by questionnaires. The following is the results:The overall score of students’satisfaction to the teachers is quite high. The score in four aspects in intimacy’s support, satisfaction and conflict is:satisfaction ranks the1st; support in2nd, intimacy ranks3rd, the last is conflict. The status of teacher-student relationship is different in different group subjects, such as different gender, different major, different grades, and so on:(1) The boys’score on the dimensionality of friendliness of teacher-student relationship is higher than the girls, while those on the dimensionalities of conflict, support and satisfaction are not obviously.(2) The relationship between teachers and students is obviously different on the dimensionalities of support, satisfaction and conflict.(3) The score of teacher-student relationship has significant difference on the dimensionalities of friendliness, while those on the dimensionalities of conflict, support and satisfaction are not significant in different grades.(4)The score of teacher-student relationship has significant difference on the dimensionalities Satisfaction, while the score in the other three dimensions has no significant difference between class cadres and the other student.Theses questionnaires are only a description of the general condition of the teacher-student relationship, but not an ecological description and explanation, in order to further investigate the relationship in higher vocational college we use a Biggest difference sampling method, selected11students of vocational college students to interview by the way of snowball, each person has three interviews, each time an hour. Before the interview we signed informed consent and interviewee’s information, after the consent we did the interview recording, recording transcription and coding. After further analysis, we got the following conclusions:(1). Lack of contact. Rarely contacts and low rate of meeting affects the interaction depth, resulting in the generation of "cold"(2) Relatively weak in psychological compatibility. The lack of efficient communication and understanding, together with the improper management lead to the further alienation of the relationship between students and teachers.(3) The teachers’impact on students the affection and the importance is only limited to academic field."Teachers are very important"—but this importance is only reflected in the academic area, the impact on other aspects is almost negligible. The teacher’s role is reduced to just imparting knowledge.(4) Students and teachers’relationship in higher vocational college exist a "teacher attitudes effect", that is, wither they can maintain a harmonious relationship, weather students are willing to get access to teachers depends on teachers’attitude.(5) Students and teachers’ relationship in higher vocational college also shows a strong contradiction effect, the specific performance is:Higher vocational college’s students’emotion is quite contrary, they want to get approach yet they do not want to be close. They want to get attention from teachers but don’t want to be controlled.
