Recovery, Development And Mature: Research On Political Science In Japan After The World War Ⅱ

The Asian Political science is one of the important constituents of Political science research to the whole world, but compared with Political science in Europe and America,the developmental process of Asian Political science is quite slow, and the achievements and influences are also limited.Political science research in Japan is a benchmark in Asia, located in the front of Asian political science research, and obtained lots of substantial results.To our country, our research and attention to Japanese political science is insufficient, and the research achievements are rare,too.This article takes the postwar political science in Japan as an object of the study.This article tries to provide three little contributions about postwar political science in Japan for domestic research:1,listing the main academic schools, academic achievements and research institutions of politics field in Japan of postwar,and outlining the developmental path of postwar Japanese political science:Recovery period,development period and mature period.2,This article analyzes the development motivation of political science in Japan from internal and external aspects.The internal aspect includes academic research combined with the social demands and the academic research gains the affirmation from authorities;The external aspect is the constantly changing situation at home and abroad promotes the development of political science in Japan.3, through reflection to the developmental motivation of Japanese political s and combining with the development of political science in China, drawing some inspirations for future Political Science research in China.
