Open justice is an important means of enhancing the credibility of justice and curbing corruption in the judiciary to the interests of justice. In recent years, China’s open justice has made great achievements since people’s courts at all levels attached more importance to it:it gradually developed an omni-bearing, wide-ranging, and various means judicial system. But in general, there still exist many problems in open justice. This article investigates the current situation of implementation of judicial transparency through websites by the Supreme court of United Stated and courts of New Zealand, and examines the level of open justice of higher people’s courts and intermediate people’s courts in China, summarizes and analyses the progresses made and problems existing in the open justice by people’s courts, and puts forward suggestions on further improving the system of open justice.This article according to the integrations and evaluations of foreign and domestic courts’ websites and on the basis of many domestic researches, studies the theory and practice of open justice. In the first part, there provides the concept and significances of open justice. The second part integrates the construction of the website of Supreme Court of United States and the website of Courts of New Zealand, points out the outstanding parts in those two courts. The third section introduces the current situation of China’s open justice. It summarizes the problems existing in the implementation of open justice by analyzes the legislation situation of open justice and the data got from the evaluations. The forth part puts forward suggestions on further improving the system of open justice to reach the final target which are the justice for the people and the course of justice.
