The establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in2001is a majorevent in the international political life, this is a new organization in a complexinternational situation. From multilateral meetings to regional cooperation, the ShanghaiCooperation Organization, the increasing international influence in the post-Cold Warperiod, play an important role in the formation of the international situation.The paper consists of four parts. First, the background of the establishment of theShanghai Cooperation Organization, the purpose and significance of the introduction.Second, it analyzes the challenges of the post-Cold War era Shanghai CooperationOrganization, security, regional cooperation, energy, and economic issues, which becamethe Shanghai Cooperation Organization, further development of the"bottleneck". Again, adetailed analysis of the significance of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization on theinternational community, Central Asia and the Member States. Finally, the furtherdevelopment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, a number of developmentstrategies and tactics, to carry forward the "Shanghai Spirit", promoting the economiccooperation of the Member States to draw on the successful experience of otherinternational organizations.
