As an important public goods, higher education is an important regulator of the distribution of social resources, it would be a significant event whether it is fair or not. Since the1990s, China’s higher education achieved leap-forward development, entering into a popular stage, and has achieved great success. However, the resources of higher education is still unable to meet the needs of the community, there are a lot of unfair things, such as enrollment opportunities,, the process and results in education, this situation is becoming worse and worse. So it has gradually becomes the focus of public attention. In1971, Rawls principles of justice, a stone layer arise waves, has caused wide discussion on issues of social justice. In view of this, in the perspective of Rawls’ theory,Rawls’ Theory of Justice sight, I will discuss in depth about the issues related to fairness about higher education, then come up with strategies and measures to the promotion healthy development of higher education. It has an important theoretical and practical significance to promote the smooth implementation of a socialist harmonious society.Based on Rawls principles of justice, I conducted a comprehensive analysis about the problems of our higher education, then came up with countermeasures. The thesis consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction, I mainly discussed the research background, significance, research status, and proposed research method in this article. The second part, I discussed based on three aspects about Rawls justice principles, meaning, analysis of justice. The third part is the concept of fair, equitable education, higher education fairness. In the fourth part, I described the phenomenon. I summed up many of the inequities of higher education, from the starting point of higher education, the process and results. In the fifth part, I discussed the reason. The reason mainly consists of six parts, such as basic education stage, the university entrance exam from the enrollment system, education resource allocation, family and stratum gap, sex, charge system and so on. The sixth part is the countermeasures. According to Rawls’ principles of justice, I will discuss deeply in how to improve our higher education degree of the equalization of opportunities, and how to strengthen the government’s lead responsibility for improving the fees and funding system, inhibition of the unfair result of objective factors, and promote the four aspects of gender equity in higher education in China, and proposed countermeasures to promote equality of higher education in China.
