Since1990s the entrance population aging by the World, the situation ofentrance is more obvious. With the lower status, early retirement, Ageism,health problem and the increase of health care, lose family and friends,depression and other emotion questions are more obvious, made the old adisadvantageous position in the community, lead to be marginalized, socialexclusion, lack of fair treatment. It is not only the focus of attention of scholarsbut also a topic of public attention by the society. In the social work perspectiveof the paper, through the collection data and talk the nature situation about theold who left in the H community，analyzed the possibility and necessity of theconstruction about the mutual support network for the Empty Nest Old. Withthe involvement by the social work to the construction about the mutualsupport network, using the way of team work to promote the ability of thesecond adaptive society by themselves，which is help for enhancing socialidentity and sense of belonging, for making up the inadequate care from thefamily members and meet the needs of old of empty nesters to provide allaspects of support.For contrast and analysis between the home and abroad, the research ofthe Empty Nest Old concentrated to the forming reasons of the Empty NestOld, the care model of the Empty Nest Old，the life attitude of the Empty NestOld，the construction of community care system and so on. The support couldsolve some problems which come from the families, communities and pensioninstitutions, but there is seriously lack of care in the spirit level. Therefore，afterthe entrance of“Empty Nest”, the solution of the Empty Nest Old with emptyand lonely, maladjustment of role, still need the specials’ guide and theadjustment and improvement of Empty Nest Old themselves. The main way of the paper is using team work which is one of the ways inthe social work, with the society reconstruction theory as the theory support, toutilize the construction of the mutual support network about the Empty NestOld, though evaluation and reflection of every section, the analysis about thewhole team activities. Summarized the results of team work successful or not,and provided the suggestions to the construction of the whole mutual supportnetwork. During the progress of the team work activities, the social workerswith the value of social work itself and the idea about helping the Empty NestOld，faced the fact, in the emotion, cognition and so on, provided the solveprograms，met some fact need, with the life care and spirit comfort for the old,which made the old get the confidence again，return to the society again andplay their roles. The main aim of the team work was to provide moreopportunities in the interaction and communication for the old each other, toenrich the support network of the Empty Nest Old. The implementing of teamwork makes to help others by their abilities and achieve their own value,easing of loss and loneliness of the elderly, so as the team numbers the oldcould get emotional support each other, self-help support and mutual aidsupport, promoting the collective and mutual assistance, to enhance groupmembers’ own resilience and autonomy at last.In the view of the less research about the mutual support network aboutthe Empty Nest Old, the writer hope the paper could provide a new prospectiveabout the social work, though the attention and research about theconstruction about the mutual support network about the Empty Nest Old, toprovide a new way of the construction of the harmonious society.
