The Research Of The Trouble And Social Support System Construction Of The Empty Nest Elderly

China has entered the rank of the aging society and the ageing trend accelerating. The empty nest elderly family is very prominent problem associated with the aging society development. As China’s growing normalizing of the core family model, and Increasing of employment rate in different areas by the economic development and the only child generation entering into the old age, the problems of empty-nest families will be more prominent. When the elderly all around us, especially in the face of the empty nest elderly living alone, faltering footsteps, lonely shadow, how to make them have a secure old age, how to get them to have a happy retirement life are a very important topic which needs to be resolved for a long time.The paper makes a focused studies on the empty nest elderly problem, on the basis of the dynamic analysis research. First of all, selecting a city community as the survey sample, having the data analysis of the basic features of empty nest elderly, the study gets some valuable results:women more than men in the empty nest elderly, the majority is over70years old; the pensions is the main economic source; primary and secondary education degree accounts for the vast majority; the condition of their physical health is worried; the most of the empty nest elderly separates with their children, living alone. Second, by the depth interview, the awkward predicament of the empty nest elderly is found, as the self-cognition incorrect; the depressive tendency prominent; the concept living a retired life lagged; the quality of life worried, and get a further analysis about the reason of it. Finally, build the social support system for the empty nest elderly, from the aspects of individual, family, community, the government and so on.
