The Application Of Filial Piety Culture In The Case Service Of Spiritual Support For The Urban Empty-nest Elderly

With the development of urbanization and the deepening of the aging of our country,the phenomenon of empty nests is becoming more and more common.In cities and towns,especially in underdeveloped areas,the number of empty-nest elderly is increasing year by year,and the elderly have low sense of individual value,spiritual emptiness,and even mental illnesses such as empty-nest syndrome,and even suicides.This has aroused social attention to the spiritual support of the elderly.In this study,the research object is set as the empty-nest elderly in the F community of J City,and the family system theory is used as the analysis framework to analyze the influence and application of filial piety culture in the spiritual support of the empty-nest elderly in underdeveloped cities and towns.Specifically,by taking the empty-nest old man L as the service object for case service,interviews with the service objects themselves,children(nephews),neighbors,and community neighborhood committee staff,explore the problems in the spiritual support of the service objects.Through dialogue,we can summarize the problems in the spiritual support of the service objects in several aspects: firstly,the service objects themselves have the problem of role adaptation due to the traditional concept of old-age care;secondly,it takes time for the service objects to accept and understand the new concepts,leading to parents and children There is a gap between them;again,the feeling of loss caused by the comparison with the neighbors' situation affects the construction of good neighbor relations;finally,the lack of targeted activities in the community makes the creation of family culture problematic.This study believes that the excellent filial piety culture in the society,such as Expend the respect of the aged in one's family to that of other families,and in the family means such Kindness of warm sun,can not be repaid by grass.play an important role in the spiritual support of the elderly.This research focuses on cultural analysis,placing the service target and the people around them in their respective cultural environment,focusing on the elderly and young people,and reconciling the problems caused by the inconsistency of the concept of mother-child care in the service target's family,and at the same time assisting Improve the cultural and recreational environment in the community,and use the value of“watching and helping each other” to guide the restoration and improvement of neighboring relationships,so as to help service targets continue to improve their lack of spiritual support.The results obtained through the development of case services also led to several thoughts: first,the culture of filial piety changes with the changes of the times;second,the influence and application of filial piety culture in the spiritual support of the empty-nest elders is limited by time and space,and there are problems in reality.It is more embodied as "filial piety but difficult to raise";third,the application of filial piety culture in the social work of spiritual support for the empty-nest elderly may need to be extended to the community level to promote the good parts of the filial piety culture of the old and the old.Give the empty-nest elderly more spiritual care and respect.
