Anti-poverty Research In Ethnic Minority Areas In Vietnam

Poverty, serious problems of human society, has become a national economicand social development in general and very urgent problem. In Vietnam, theexistence of poverty has become a serious obstacle to building a harmonioussociety. Vietnam has made great poverty alleviation efforts. But at present, Vietnamis still poverty in mountainous areas is very serious, especially in minority areas,inaccessible areas due to poverty, poor environment, so that the task of helping thepoor even more difficult. Vietnamese Government is well aware, poverty is thestumbling block of economic development, poverty eradication, food and clothingto solve people’s problems is its bounden duty. Therefore, since the early nineties,seven Viet Cong blew the horn to the war on poverty. From the Communist Partyof Vietnam has seven to ten years, Vietnam’s economy in the sudden emergence inSoutheast Asia, Southeast Asia has been leading the economic growth. Meanwhile,the Vietnamese government in poverty reduction achieved in practice is alarming,as the world’s developing pro-poor development model, has won world acclaim.This article focuses on the causes of poverty in ethnic minority regions inVietnam, poverty status and effect of a specific analysis: Vietnam’s povertyreduction over the last decade were reviewed, proved effective in povertyalleviation in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Government in poverty alleviation workin minority areas, there deficiencies and the Chinese government anti-povertystrategies in ethnic minority areas and the comparison with Vietnam. At the sametime the Vietnamese government poverty reduction in practice of the internationallearning experience, but also formed their own characteristics, accumulated a greatdeal of valuable experienceVietnam’s government plans to eliminate by2015the basic state of povertyand by2020the country’s industrialization and modernization. This paper arguesthat, due to poor still face many implicit and explicit factors, which the Vietnamesegovernment is certainly the future path of poverty alleviation is still a lot ofproblems. A policy measure has its shortcomings and lack of poverty reduction inethnic minority areas in Vietnam there are obvious problems. I constantly strive tograsp the problem and the precise and appropriate research.
