The Research Of Social Supporting Network Of The Rural Disabled People

Rural disabled people is a typical representative of the disadvantaged groups, they have double weakness. The government’s support for them solved many problems in life, but the policy of the government has certain universality, and not for each rural disabled people on the demand. Their informal social support network comes from family members, relatives and friends also play an important role in daily life. As a very huge social vulnerable groups, what’s the status of social support network of the rural disabled people, who provides including emotional, economic and household support in their daily life, this is a worth academia and government departments need to concern.In this paper, we regard the rural disabled people as the study, using the methods of social networks, and decompose their social support network for emotional support network, housework and economic support network, we study and analyze three subnets network scale, structure, network convergence relation and network heterogeneity, and finally reveal the problems and development trend of the rural disabled people in social support network. Specific research conclusion is as follows:First, the scale of social support nets of the rural disabled people is general, emotional support nets is the largest and economic support nets is the smallest. The social support network is more open, extend become lateral relationship.Second, genetic relationship is still the main relationship in social support network of rural disabled people, but the general relationships become more important, especially in providing emotional support and economic support.Third, the convergence is generally higher but the heterogeneous is general. With the rural disabled people in the ascension of the degree of social life and social interaction range widening, the convergence between members began to appear down trend, network heterogeneity between the members is becoming more and more obvious.Fourth, in emotional support nets and economic support net, the demand of different types and degree disability has high consistency, while demand of the housework support in different types and degree of disability is on each.
