In the process of urbanization, a large mount of youth labor immigrant from rural region to urban. While the immigration helps the economic development, it creates a series of problems, such as rural elderly empty-nesters. As our social security is weak, the rural elderly supporting largely rely on the families. The paper focus on the periodical family support to the elderly in the urban which is influenced by different life stage of the adult children’s "marriage" and "migration". The influence is various and multiple, it brings both advantage and disadvantage to the elders’life. Results from logistic regression modeling suggest that:after children immigrated to rural, the economical support is increasing while spiritual backing, personal care of the elderly is decreasing. And the adult children’s marriage improved the economical and spiritual support for the elderly, and spiritual backing and personal care stays the same. The logistic regression model also shows that daughters’financial support for rural parents are higher than sons, the children received higher education gives more financial support but less housework support, with children grows older, they offer the less financial support but more personal care and housework support. Therefore, the life course of "marriage" promote the feelings of two generations, exert an positive influence on the elders’life. According to the above analysis, suggestions will be put forward to ease the aging problem for the government and social work system.
