It is estimated that in2010there were more than one billion people around the world with some of disability, accounting for up to15%of the population. There are enormous scale of China’s disabled population, according to the2006Second National Sample Survey of Disabled People. There were almost82.96million disabled people, accounting for6.34%of the total population involved in1/5of the family of the nation and more than200million households. And the number of disabled people in Beijing was nearly a million in the same year. It can be estimated that the number may reach1.273million.The problem of the disabled is unavoidable of human society. Caring for the disabled is the progress of social civilization and also the basic requirement of building a harmonious socialist society. If the interests of such a huge group of people with disabled can not be met, the basic living can not be guaranteed, it will be a threat for the reform, development and stability. Full employment of persons with disabilities is the root for solve the social problems of the disabled.The employment of people with disabilities has been improved in the past five years. However, there are still many problems to be solved, such as the low employment rate, the low quality of employment and the unbalanced development of employment, etc.The paper use the data obtained from the Beijing Disabled Persons’Federation as a support, analyze the employment rate, occupation distribution, the situation of education and training, etc. And then, analyze the social consequences may brought by this case, and try to find its causes. Finally, learn from the advanced experience and explore the reasonable and feasible measures.
