People with disabilities are special vulnerable groups in the current society. Because of the defects in their physiological aspects or in psychological aspects, they don’t have normal capacity to be engaged in certain activities, so they are always excluded from the mainstream society and become very fragile marginalized groups. In our society, they are groups most in need of help and support.The employment of the People with disabilities is a very important part of the work for the disabled, also is a social question which is concerned by the disabled and their families. The employment of the disabled means the improvement of their living level and the raise of their social status. Helping the disabled with employment ability to get jobs is an important way to helping them integrate in the community, also is an important factor in promoting development of social harmonious. As a special group in the current society, because of their physiological shortcomings, some of the disabled can not participate in the employment. Although some of the disabled have the abilities to work, they are discriminated against in the field of employment, just because of the various social causes. This not only affects living standards of the disabled, but also is not conducive to social harmony and stability development.In recent years, the employment of the disabled has been more and more attention by the government and social concern. In the support of government and the society, with the disabled people own efforts, the employment rate of the disabled in China have a great upgrade, and the employment security work for the disabled is also better than before. But with the development of their employments, various kinds of problems are highlighted and urgent to be solved. So we need to improve the security system of the disabled employment to ensure the realization the legitimate rights and interests of their employment. Only in this way, the healthy and stable development of the work for the disabled can be promoted.This thesis is based on the example of collection, literature review and theoretical study, through literature inquiry, comparative analysis, key visits and other forms to understand the lives and employment status, of people with disabilities in City of Tai’an. It also conscientiously sums up the various practical problems which restrict the development of the employment of the disabled. The thesis analyses various factors affecting the employment of the disabled in China, and analyses how to solve the problem of employment from the overall perspective including government, society, enterprises and institutions, families of disabled and themselves, putting forward to build a security system of the disabled employment,which contains a variety of social elements.
