| Rectification of party is the rectification about the party’s organization,it is an original path to build the Communist Party of China(abbrev.CPC), which is non-institutional. By party rectification, seeking to achieve deep-going uniformity in ideology and organization,and strengthening the cohesion and tactical efficiency,to adapt to the requirements of new situation and tasks.The rectification of party in1951-1954was the first reorganization in the whole country after the CPC in power, and the exploration to raise the ability to govern it’s own.At that time,the wars home and abroad were still on,each item construction were groping,but all kinds of relaxed vigilance and serious corruption emerged in the party,to bring about the adverse effect for consolidating the newborn regime and ruling status of CPC.In accordance with the above case,CPC Central Committee determined to reorganize roundly in primary organization throughout the country, improving the party members’standard of ideology and politics,and purifying the primary organization of CPC.By education of the party members’ eight standards,the rank and file of the party recognized the communistic rosy prospect,stoutened the communist ideal belief,improved and reinvented themselves to promote socialist construction actively.At the same time,the Movement against Three Evils which happened during the rectification of party exposed and criticized the bad style and phenomenons of violating the law and discipline everywhere,more than six thousand and seven hundred venal and retrogressive members,alien class members and other kinds of bad members were eliminated,sixteen thousand seven hundred and forty people received punishment of party discipline,the whole party got a deep education.Due to the rectification of the party combined with all fields’ work,the organization of the party in all parts of country took much count of work about branch of a political party,built up comprehensive systems,strengthened intra-party supervision,enhanced the Party’s ties with masses,brought into fullplay the role of fighting bastion of primary organization,raised the ability of primary organization to govern.Even though there were some deviations during the rectification movement in some areas,it generally proceeded in order at the CPC Central Committee’s hands More than sixty-five thousand members were purged from the Party for all kinds of problems when the rectification movement ended, the party became pure and more united to a certain extent, and accomplished thought integration, provided a strong organizational strength for finishing socialist transformation. Not only was the rectification of party in1951-1954significant for the newborn regime at that time,but it was referential for the party’s social conformity ability of current primary organization. |
