The Spontaneous Order as Hayek’s social thought is the key concept, which is the central question of understanding and grasping the relationship between individual freedom and social order. Undertaking this theory is helpful to clear Hayek’s whole theoretical system, especially to the process of design and demonstration.The full text is divided into four parts. Firstly, we start with the background of spontaneous order theory that Hayek presented, and briefly discussed the controversy on planned economy and market economy between Hayek and Keynes; Next we study the spontaneous order theory’s historical clues. From the Enlightenment in Scotland, we cleared the Constructivist Rationality and Ecological Rationality. In addition, to Mandeville’s "Private Vice, Public Benefits", David Hume’s "Cultural Evolution", Adam Smith’s "Invisible Hand" and "Natural Freedom System", moreover, Ferguson’s "Spontaneous Social Order-result of the behavior rather than the design " theory. And from the Austria School of economics two representatives-Menger and Mises’s relevant ideas. Next is the logical clue of Hayek’s theory of knowledge development. From Hume’s "Division of Knowledge" and "Limited Rationality" to Kant’s" Distinction between Phenomenon and Noumenon" and "Agnostic theory", then to Maher’s" Cognitive Psychology" and the influence of Christianity.The second part we will further elucidate Hayek’s demonstration of the process. From the true individualism, limited rationality, to the elements of spontaneous order theory-freedom, competition and the rules, to the relationship with market economy, and lastly we will study its relationship with the law.The third part is to select the two perspectives, from the theory of knowledge’s dilemma-Hume and Kant’s conflict to the Overcorrect Tendency to spontaneous order theory, briefly evaluated.The fourth part is in the context of China to attempt to put forward several questions, which is unavoidable build, the great differences between Chinese and western traditional construction, how the tradition can evolve the free law and an implicit values of the argument. Additionally, discusses the theory and its enlightenments to China, which is Conservative Liberty, paying attention to the local resources and based on" Limited Rationality" deducing to the importance of "Free ".
