Female Migrant Workers Living Conditions Research

The live status of the female migrant workers seems still far from being satisfactory while the livelihood of publics is increasing with rapid development of economy in China. As the voluntary group of the migrant workers, the female migrant workers suffer discrimination and pressures that from gender discrimination and social Stratification. Facing the serious survival issues, they need more attention and helps than male migrant workers. The society will be more harmonious and sustainable developed only if the survival status of female migrant workers gets better. Thus, it’s meaningful and significant to take a research on the female migrant workers.The article takes the female migrant workers of manufacturing industry in Shenzhen municipal as the research object. To find out the live status of female migrant workers of manufacture industry in Shenzhen, the article collected samples through the methods of literature survey, field survey, questionnaire survey, face to face interview and other empirical methods, from four aspects of live, job, right and spirit. Based on the SPSS analysis, with subsidy study on face to face case study, to analysis and summarize the female migrant workers facing survival status, to propose suggestions from aspects of government, society, the third sector institution and female migrant worker, for expecting to improve the survival status of female migrant workers. As shown from the study, the female migrant workers facing basic livelihood, medical care, education, job attaining, rights and other issues. The issues of the female migrant workers could be resolved fundamentally only if the government, society and the third party institution as well as the female migrant workers themselves in China.The article offer some political suggestion to improve the status of female migrant workers, and take contribution to actualize sustainability and harmonious society.This paper divided into five parts:The Chapter One mainly introduced the background, significance, and research outcome within China, to clarify the content, purpose and research methods. The Chapter Two described basic information of the female migrant workers, mainly analysis and elaborate on the sample of female migrant workers in the basic situation. The Chapter Three took a case presentation, and focus on the three typical cases of survival condition. The Chapter Four illustrated the live conditions of female migrant workers from daily live, job, rights and spirits to discuss all issues that they facing. The relevant suggestions were provided in Chapter Five from four aspects of government, society, enterprise and individuals.
