Since the reform and opening up, along with the development of China’s industrialization and urbanization, a large number of rural surplus labor came to the city to engage in non-agricultural industries, the emergence of a new type of labor-migrant workers in China’s urban and rural household registration system. Migrant workers to leave the land to engage in non-farm economic activities of farmers, is a special mixture of peasant identity and occupational. The special status of the migrant workers reflects the conflict between the household registration system to speed up the process of industrialization, urbanization and strict. The emergence and development of a particular social group, economic transition and social transformation as the background, but also a profound impact on China’s economic transformation and social change, and bring a range of issues. Problem of migrant workers is an important social problems facing Chinese society in transition, not only to full employment and guarantee of the rights of migrant workers in the process of Conversion, migrant workers and involves the orderly integration into the urban life and the gradual completion of the public of the problem. In this paper, the process of urbanization in China, into the city from the rural people of migrant workers engaged in non-agricultural production as a research topic, starting from a basis in reality of the people of migrant workers and promote the status quo, the practical significance of the people of migrant workers and feasible analysis closely with domestic and foreign labor to transfer the relevant theoretical results, focused on the people of migrant workers is difficult to achieve institutional barriers, the factor of social structural barriers, as well as the quality of migrant workers disorders, drawing on the successful experience of foreign transfer of rural labor and failures, a series of policy recommendations for China’s national conditions to solve the problems of migrant workers.
