Professional ethics link closely to profession, which reflectshistorical inheritance, cultural particularity and municipal universality.Professional ethics can be defined from the view of specification,human’s inner belief or quality in a narrow sense. It contains thephenomenon of moral activity, the phenomenon of moral consciousnessand ethical phenomena.The emphasis of the contents of professional ethics is different,which not only shows the demands of times, but also shows thedevelopment of it. The Citizen’s Code of Conduct in2001emphasizes"dedication, honest and trustworthy, act of justice, serving the people,contributing to society should be the main contents of professional ethicsand being a good builder should be encouraged." This defines the maincontents of professional ethics in China.This paper makes use of plenty of examples, papers and data toanalyze the status of the staffs’professional ethics at the present stage. In general, the building of professional ethics of our employees has madegratifying achievements. But at the same time, some problems exist,such as lack of professional dedication, service awareness and collectiveidea, etc. An in-depth study is carried out in this paper directed towardsto the three reasons. Result shows that the main reasons are employee’sfactors, enterprise’s factors and social factors. This paper also raisessome relevant suggestions and solutions based on the research ofeducation and training mechanisms, corporate incentive and restraintmechanisms, guidance mechanism and social environment, etc. Tocertain degree, it has instructional and practical significance.
