Democratization is one of the basic trend of contemporary world politics. Social democratic politics construction has been an important target in China’s political reform system. With the popularity of Internet in a wide range and the rising number of netizen, cyber democratization has been an important phenomenon in Chinese politics. Generally speaking, cyber democratization refers to democracy within the media or factor of network. People access to get the latest and the most comprehensive political news without going out at all. Through the news’ broadcasting and the discussion between the netizens on the network, people accomplish their expression of interests rapidly and completely. Then, the pressure caused by public opinions on the Internet will transport to the government. As a result, the government agenda has to take netizen’s opinions into consideration. Cyber democracy is an important practical platform for the construction of democratization in China.It improves the equality of subject participation, gathers the public opinions in wide range, ameliorates the communication between the government and publics, supervises the public power efficiently, cultivates citizens’ spirit of democracy. Undoubtedly, cyber democracy could play a important part in China’s democratization process. Nowadays in China,government websites, portal websites, network communities, blogs and microblogging are important platform for democratic practice, cyber democracy has brought about great influence in the society. However, cyber democracy has such problems as information asymmetry, moral deficiency, online water army. Without appropriate guidance, cyber democracy may do harm to our construction of socialist modernization. Therefore, guiding the development of cyber democracy by perfecting the legislation of Internet, improving the service of government, constructing internet morality, raising the self regulation of Internet trade, cultivating tolerant and rational netizens is very important for cyber democracy and the political democratization in China.
