China’s Food Safety Supervision Legal Countermeasure Research

Tainted milk, toxic beans, toxic rice and a series of food crisis continues tostimulate the nerve of consumer As the saying goes: hunger breeds discontentment,fresh to the first”, people would never consider the food they have is safe or not,whether can have a negative impact on health. But in recent years, some major foodsafety accidents have occurred frequently, people begin to give more attention to thefood safety. Food safety on the country and social stability and development,relatedto people’s lives and health, and also related to the healthy and orderly developmentof market economy. Under this premise, this dissertation seeks to comprehensivediscussion from legal point. In this paper the issues involved: the definition of foodsafety, China’s food safety performance, in China and developed countries related tofood safety regulatory system, including the legal system and law inforcementagencies set up, recommendations for the improvement of China’s food safetyregulatory agencies, and the author several suggestions to improve our food safetyregulatory agencies.The article is divided into four parts. The first part discusses the basicconcepts of food safety and food safety in China; the second part of the legal andregulatory institutions set related to the developed countries are more mature foodsafety regulatory system, in order to improve food safety in China regulatory systemto inspire; the third part of a comprehensive analysis of our existing food safetyregulatory system, summary of certain problems of China’s food safety regulatorysystem and on this basis; the fourth part from the legal system, the regulatory bodysystem the angles given sound advice.
