Russian Diplomatic Strategy During The Period Of Study

It is research orientation to refine diplomatic strategic elements of the Soviet,and make a thorough study of theories,thought and cultural traditions of the diplomatic strategic formation,and probe into and analyze advantages,disadvantages and influences of the diplomatic strategy in practice.This thesis,on the basis of Marx’s historical materialism and dialectical materialism thought,is an objective system analysis about the international circumstances of Soviet times,ideological foundation,ore elements and major features of the diplomatic strategy of the Soviet by means of historical analysis method, diplomatic strategic element analysis method,inductive analysis method and so on.The thesis is divided into four main parts:The first part conducts a comprehensive analysis of the background about the international circumstances and the revolutionary situation of Soviet period,and expatiates unstable posture of the international pattern. War and revolution were the times theme at that time.In addition,the part expounds the strategic strength,challenges and opportunities of the Soviet in the international situation.The second part expounds formative factors of Soviet diplomatic strategy,which include not only the Marxism ideology but also the essence of Soviet traditional diplomatic strategy.What’s more,the more important factor is Lenin’s overall thinking about Soviet diplomacy in the new situation.The diplomatic strategy has three direct sources:thought of One Country Victory"of socialist revolution.thought of diplomatic strategy of peaceful coexistence and Soviet traditional diplomatic strategy.The third part, according to the requirements of diplomatic strategic analysis,the constitutive factors of the diplomatic strategy are investigated targetedly.The international role of the Soviet experienced change from the vanguard of the international proletariat revolution to the guider of different countries’ proletariat and revolutionary forces.In addition,the Soviet developed the economy with capitalist countries in peaceful coexistence.The Soviet seeked the common interests of the state and revolution from single revolutionary interests and established diplomatic strategic aim of ensuring national security and developing peaceful coexistence with capitalist countries.The way of Soviet diplomatic strategy consists of ideology-led revolutionary diplomacy,geopolitical diplomacy of Soviet geographical advantage,economic diplomacy by economy promoting political relations and superpower diplomacy by using contradiction through the blockade.The fourth part evaluates Soviet diplomatic strategy comprehensively,which is regarded as pragmatic style of unified plan from laissez-faire revolutionary style,dualistic tendency of national development and international revolution,and abundant and flexible means. Soviet diplomatic strategy,which acts on the diplomatic construction greatly in Soviet period,is the result of history.However,Soviet diplomatic strategy had some flaws and negative effects in that time and later.After all,we should adhere to the principle of seeking truth from facts of Marxism to divide into two to analyze and evaluate the historical position of Soviet diplomatic strategy.
