An Exploration Of Political Reform In Vietnam

This article is researching about the Vietnam’s political reform.The author believes that the research of Vietnam’s political reform will be helpful to strengthen our understanding of the construction of socialist democracy. This research could provide a kind of thinking about the problems and dilemmas faced by the socialist countries in the process of political reform. Meanwhile, it provides a reference for the political reform of China.This study of Vietnam’s political reform is constituted by four aspects. The first aspect is the background of Vietnam’s political reform, including the root cause, the practical reasons and the direct cause of Vietnam’s political reform, the relationship between the Vietnam’s political reform and economic reform, the relationship between political reform and socialist democracy. The second aspect is the process of Vietnam’s political reform, including the division and description of the Vietnam’s political reform process.The third aspect is the main measure of Vietnam’s political reform, including the specific measures and effects of the construction of inner-party democracy, the reform of the congress and government, legal construction and the grassroots democracy construction. The forth aspect is the experience and enlightenment of Vietnam’s political reform, including the reference significance for China. The main points can be reflected as follows:analysis about the general rules of democratization in the process of Vietnam’s political reform, the core and foothold of Vietnam’s political reform, the core status of Communist Party of Vietnam in the process of Vietnam’s political reform, how to strengthen the legal construction for Vietnam’s political reform, what to learn from Vietnam’s political reform, and the reference significance of Vietnam’s political reform for China.This article makes a systematic study of political reform in Vietnam, and also summarizes stage partition of political reform in Vietnam. The system is summed up the feature of4phases, made an assessment to the development of each period. These theories give much forceful enlightenment to the concrete political reform in China. As an innovative topic, the political reform in Vietnam has been analyzed and compared systematically. This article has a variety of unavoidable defect because of the limit of acquiring data and my shortage in mastering the study.
