Social changes are accomplished majorly by the stratification of social classes. and the latter also is an important index in the assessing of societal development. If its stratification is extensive, deep, and better manifests the society’s inner structure, the society is more likely to have rapid development, comprehensive restructuring, and higher integrity. Since the Reform and Open in1978, China’s social stratums have been in fundamental changes, various stratums emerged and culminated. More accurate assessments of China’s stratification and its fluidities under new contexts, and better understandings of each stratum’s role and interactions with others, are indispensible to stimulate their enthusiasms in Socialist construction, and furthermore, to the solidification of CCP’s social bases, and the enlargement of that party’s mass supports, moreover, the further of CCP’s social influences and rules, also urgently and strategically depend on that.After1978, the transforming of productive relations, the furthering of market-driven economy, and the advancing of modernization, have obviously reshaped China’s social stratums. The changes at least are the differentiation and gathering of social classes, more rapid fluidness, as well as the unveiling and intensification of inter-stratum conflicts. The fierce transformation posed both opportunities and challenges to the ruling party at the meantime, on the one hand it is in accordance with the frame work of Socialist construction, but on the other hand, the upstart social classes deeply influenced the ruling foundation of CCP. This dissertation focuses on the changes we listed above, especially on the burgeoning classes. Data analysis, systemic analysis, comparative study, as well as some other methods are employed in this dissertation, in order to better evaluate the possible influences; And the author hopes his study, can marry the existing experiences, with the theories about the solidification of Party’s mass-supporting and caste foundation, in order to issue some practical guidelines, that are helpful in making CCP represent people’s interests maximally, so the Party’s ruling foundations can be enlarged and enhanced.China has entered a new stage in the building of an all-round well-off society, with the rising of private economy, new strata are also on their fast tracks of development. As indispensible participators in Socialist construction with Chinese characteristics, these castes should be united, with broader coverage, more extensive range, more clear-cut diversity, and more obvious national width. Created by the Socialist market-economy, upstart stratums were born beneficial to the economic growth, social development, and further, to the prosperity of material, spiritual, and political civilizations. On this basis, we should have better understandings of the members within these classes, including the knowledge of their thoughts, behaviors, and political claims. Only by this can we initiate accommodative policies and countermeasures, to attract more supports and resources, and to make the rising classes united around the CCP. With CCP’s ruling foundations enhanced, the Party will be even insightful in giving guidelines to the construction of Harmonious Society and the magnificent revival of the Chinese nation.
