The Study On Civil Morality Construction In The Process Of Building Harmonious Society

Building a harmonious society not only needs great material wealth as a base but alsothe good ideological and cultural factors as the spiritual support. The powerful moral forceputs forward the social harmony and good morality and social practices lead the advanceof the times. The moral construction of citizens is our responsibility and it needs theparticipation and support from all walks of life. Moving forward the construction ofcitizens is positively meaningful for building good morality and social practices andharmonious social atmosphere.In this thesis, the document analysis method, the method of induction analysis andthe general system method were used in the analysis of the problem occur in the processof moral construction of citizens during the construction of the harmonious society. Firstly,the construction of morality of citizens and the harmonious society is mutually promotedand can not be separated. On the one hand, the moral construction of citizens is theimportant content, the inevitable demand and spiritual force of building a harmonioussociety. On the other hand, a harmonious society provides a good social environment andatmosphere for the construction of morality. Secondly, when we give credit to theachievement of the morality construction, we at the same time should face the problemsduring this procession. Because of the diversity of values, the negative effect of marketeconomy and the imperfection of the laws and regularities and cultural education, themorality of citizens exhibit anomie in society are facing the great challenge nowadays.Lastly, this thesis will try to find ways to construct the citizens’ morality in the backgroundof building a harmonious society. The moral construction of citizens is a systematicproject in which the moral education effect should be given full play. The supervision andrewards and punishment system should be perfected. It should also inherit the goodtraditional culture and use the advanced experiences from abroad for reference. In addition,the public voice and examples could be the leading role. All of the former factors willcreate a harmonious social atmosphere for the moral construction of citizens.
