Exploring The Religious Beliefs Of Rural Remaining Wives In Northern Henan Province Of China

Since the1980’s, more and more rural labor force has began to flow to the city, along with the further reform and opening-up and the promotion of urbanization and industrialization in China.Therefore,a lot of remaining people, being called as386199,have emerged. The variable and complex daily lives of remaining wives begin to be cared. The development of rural culture, with the construction of the new socialist countryside improved, has focused everyone’s attention. So, the rural remaining wives, as the backbone in the countryside, gradually become to be the main body of the construction of cultural countryside. Then, the religious beliefs phenomenon of rural remaining wives in countryside become to the focus in the construction of new socialist countryside culture.This article that takes the A village religious beliefs of rural remaining wives in Nanle county of Henan province as the research object, through the questionnaire survey, field investigation, case interviews and other methods, has described the present situation of A village religious beliefs from diachronic and synchronic description Angle and,taking institutional religious beliefs of remaining wives as core,discussed the causes, approaches, processes and impacts of the institutional religious beliefs of remaining wives in order to explore the trend and direction of the rural social culture changes. Regarding the construction of stable countryside’s social order, the realization of "civilized" new socialist countryside and the building of harmonious society, this research has the important theory value and the Practical significance. The article divides into five parts:First part:Introduction, mainly from the background, the research goal and the significance, the literature review, the basic concept and methodology, were discussed.Second part:The basic situation of the study area, through the access and all kinds of inscriptions record editing, understand the history of the village and county and, from geographic space and historical time, analyse the development background of A village’s social economy and culture for the theme.Third part:The analysis of A village institutional religious beliefs of rural remaining wives, with process-events analysis method, analyses the integration and development of Christian and, using depth analysis and interview, reveals the process and trend of the Catholic faith, and, through the studying of the process, change, characteristics and influences of institutional religious belief, pursue the life world of rural remaining women.Fourth part:Theoretical research of the A village religious beliefs of rural remaining wives, from social structure theory angle, seek the deep reasons of the current situations of religious beliefs of rural remaining wives.Fifth part:Conclusion and Proposal.Proposal, as to the problems of the rural religious beliefs, have been put forward as well as summering the article.
