With the rapid development of China’s economy and society, volunteer organizations areemerging to play an increasingly important role in the cause of social services. Volunteers isthe importance of human resources in the non-profit organizations in our social life, but alsoas an important resource. With the further formation of the civil society in China, the furtherdevelopment of non-profit organizations grow, the volunteer team to further enrich the valueof volunteers in society is more and more obvious. However, due to various reasons,volunteer management issues have become increasingly prominent, to become one of theproblems of sustainable development of the non-profit organization. To strengthen themanagement of volunteers is to improve the operational performance and organizationalcapacity of the non-profit organization, give full play to its role in the economic and socialdevelopment of effective means. Currently, our nonprofit volunteer management research isstill at an exploratory stage, therefore, investigate the problem, not only has a theoreticalvalue, but also has strong practical significance.In this thesis, starting from the proposed research on the background and significance ofthe topic, the volunteer management concepts and theories, combined with the status quo ofXinhui District, analysis at this stage Xinhui District volunteers management of the status quo,there is a problem and its causes. After the study, Xinhui District volunteer managementproblem: unclear positioning of the volunteer organization; volunteers is not high degree ofsocial recognition; volunteer management policies and the absence of the law; lack of fundingfor volunteer management; volunteer management systems, management efficiency is nothigh; volunteers a serious loss.For the existing problems, the paper by studying a representative of the non-profitorganizations at home and abroad advanced volunteer management practices and experience,understand and grasp the worth to learn from Revelation, and combined with the volunteermanagement cycle theory, from the external environment and internal management asked thevolunteer management suggestions. on the one hand, from the analysis of the externalenvironment of the organization, volunteer management, legal support, funding sources, andthe human environment nurturing to make deep-seated explore; the other hand, to proceedfrom the internal management, strengthen the organization’s internal construction, andinnovation the volunteer incentive as well as the use of the psychological contract, emotionalculture, means of network management launched an in-depth exploration.This paper argues that only strengthened civic culture and the social and cultural construction, in order to enhance the volunteer organizations and social recognition; Only bystrengthening the planning of volunteer service, and strengthen the protection of policies andregulations in order to make the volunteers to better serve the community; only to ensure thatvolunteers funding sourcesinnovative volunteer management, the perfect volunteerrecruitment mobilization mechanism, strengthen volunteer training enhance the volunteersassess Steering mechanisms to effectively manage volunteers prevent volunteers loss, topromote the smooth conduct of the volunteer service activities.
