Jared Diamond, a scientist,an American physiology, geography and evolutionary biologist must be mentioned again here, this cautious optimist points out that social life of modern human beings is not sustainable and distant, the children and youth must solve the environmental problems in their lifetime.whether we solve the problems in a positive way or passively accept unpleasant results will decide the trend of the future world.Through all discussion, this paper will mainly clarify the following key issues: Firstly,,what is the true trend of American environmental diplomacy in the "post-Kyoto era ";Secondly, is there a new setback of the U.S. environmental foreign policy during the Obama administration; The third one is whether the U.S. environmental foreign policy becomes a powerful tool interfering other countries’ internal affairs instead of human rights policy, Finally, what should be done in dealing with U.S.government and learn from the U.S. Environmental Foreign Policy. The whole paper will focus on the resilience of America in the past few decades and display the trends of current foreign environmental policy.simultaneously, by analysing Obama’s speech in the Copenhagen World Congress, the true purpose behind the U.S. Government’s attitude will be explored.
