The thought of fairness and justice of Marx and Engels has beendeveloped scientifically on the basis of inheriting the predecessors’excellent thought in critique,which is the guiding ideology of oursocialist construction of social full of fairness and justice. In thisarticle, we comb the content, the main characteristics and the practicalsignificance of the thought of fairness and justice of Marx and Engelsby studying what is justice, the criticism of injustice of capitalistsociety, how to realize the thought of justice.The main content of this article is divided into seven parts:Part Ⅰ,Marx and Engels on justice in production. Marx and Engelsbelieve that, the justice in production is to correctly handle therelationship in production between human and nature, man and society. Theinjustice of the capitalist social is mainly manifested in the productionthat their purpose of production is in the pursuit of the residual valuebut not of the demand for the people in development and the alienationof labor that lead to the abnormal development of people; to realize thefairness and justice in production, we should reform the capitalist modeof production, abolish the capitalist private ownership of the means ofproduction.Part Ⅱ,Marx and Engels on justice in exchange. Marx Engels think,the justice in exchange should not only be showed formally butsubstantially to realize that the exchange should be adapted to thespecific mode of production; the exchange under capitalism issubstantially injustice which is under the cover of the justice in formal;to realize the justice in exchange, we should change the basis, which isbased on by the capitalist exchange, that is the capitalist mode ofproduction.Part Ⅲ,Marx and Engels on justice in distribution. Marx and Engelsbelieve the allocation should be adapted to the specific mode ofproduction, according to the labor time and the intensity of labor; andat the same time, we should critique the theory of the bourgeois on thebasis of those so-called equal rights; to achieve this equitabledistribution, we should eliminate the capitalist system that caused the distribution of capitalism, and try to realize the distribution accordingto work and the distribution according to need that in the socialist systemand the communist system.Part Ⅳ,Marx and Engels on justice in consumption. Marx and Engelsthink, the justice in consumption is refer to that the consumption shouldmeet the need of each individual to survival and develop; in the capitalistsociety, the production can not fully meet the demand of these broad massesof workers; the cause of this lack of consumption is that people have noability to buy, so this lack is not in true, but in relatively; we knowthat only in socialist and communist society the justice in consumptionwill be realized.Part Ⅴ,Marx and Engels on the justice of human development. Marx andEngels believe that the achievement of the fairness and justice shouldaim at the value target that the all-round development of people; therealization of the fairness and justice is an important measurement ofthe all-round development of people; the unfairness and injustice of thedevelopment of people in the capitalist society is reflected in the ruleof the material and the abnormal development of man; so only in thecommunist we can fully free developed, which fully embodies the fairnessand justice in the development of human.Part Ⅵ,The main characteristics of the thought of the fairness andjustice of Marx and Engels. Marx and Engels beyond the utopian socialists,and the difference between them and the bourgeois thinkers, lies in thefact that Marx and Engels is standing on the dialectical materialism andhistorical materialism standpoint, they give us a profound analysis ofthe capitalist society causes unfair, and put forward the correct way torealize the social justice. The main characteristics of Marx and Engels’sfairness and justice thought is: Firstly, they put the development ofproductive as a fundament means of realizing the justice. Secondly, theystudy the fairness and justice from the dialectical relationship betweenproduction、exchange、distribution and consumption. Thirdly, for thefairness and justice, they unite its historic significance and itsrelative significance. Fourth, they make the justice is the unity of thetrue justice and the substantive justice.Part Ⅶ,the practical significance of the thought of fairness andjustice of Marx and Engels. We should study the Marx and Engels’s justice thought deeply, use the theory of these which is relative to the productionand exchange, the distribution and consumption correctly, in order topromote China’s economic and social development. And at the same time,we should pay more attention to the fairness and justice in the developmentof human to promote the process of the all-round development of peoplein our county.
