Study On The Factors Which Affect The Housing Type Selection Of The Immigrant Workers In Lanzhou

With the fast development of industrialization and urbanization of China, a large number of migrant workers played an important role for the development of the cities. Restricted by housing conditions and requirements, the housing conditions of migrant workers is relatively poor compared to urban residents. Therefore, they become the bottom of the society. Migrant workers housing problem is important to the construction of the well-off society, and housing choice tendency study of migrant workers is the basic condition to solve the problem of rural migrant workers housing.Based on the survey data of rural migrant workers field survey project in Lanzhou2010, using the frequency analysis, interaction statistical method and multiple regression analysis, this paper conducts the housing sources and housing status quo of migrant workers in Lanzhou.and from the perspective of demographic factors, economic factors, stability factors and psychosocial we explored the related factors of housing choices of rural migrant workers. The results of the study showed that years of working in Lanzhou, age, whether spouse is trailing, and the way they are employed significantly affected the housing choices of migrant workers in Lanzhou.And marital status, account status, number of children in Lanzhou and income factors are not significant.
