The implementation of the basic education curriculum reform, proposed to the teacher a higher request, And the professional development of teacher also more and more receives takes. Teachers’ profession is dependent on their consciousness, which is the result of the reflection of teaching practice that is from the "problem" in self practice. However, in the teaching process, teachers are focusing on how to impart knowledge, and self-reflection can only come from review and summary after class, which can make information lost and hinder the reflective practice, and is difficult for the growth of teachers. Only in the real objective environment can we reflect on the teaching activities. Class teaching video supported by the video technology can fully reproduce the dynamics and complex of classroom, and make up for defects of the reflection after class. Therefore, to promote the growth of teachers’ profession, researchers in the field of learning science advocate the use of class video.On this background, the paper explores how to use video technology to fully reproduce the true characteristics of classroom instruction for analyzing instruction, and form a complete and systematic analysis of classroom teaching video. Around this theme, this study completed the following work:First, through searching materials extensively, we can evaluate the status of teaching in our education system, the advantages of class video and the disadvantages of existing methods. Using information theory view and the system point of view, we propose the methods of analyzing class video, and analyzing the instruction fully and objectively.Second, we established the available video coding standards for the teaching video analysis. Starting from the teaching behavior, we focused on the "Flanders Interaction Analysis System" and "Verbal Interaction Category System", and improved it on the base of "Flanders classification system", analyzed the reasons for improvement, and put forward ideas for improvement. Finally we obtained the teaching behavior of the coding standard.Third, based on the research methods in Educational Technology, we integrated characteristics of the video and proposed method of teaching video analysis.Four, we used the selected tool and combined coding standards to analyze the case of quality Demonstration Lesson and education practicum, and verified the feasibility of teaching video analysis.Five, we discussed the use of pattern recognition technology and the future development of the technology and proposed the idea that we should put the technology into the class teaching video analysis tools.
