Kohlberg’s Just Community And Enlightenment Of Moral Education In University Of Our Country

Lawrence·Kohlberg (1927-1987) is one of the most famous moral psychologists. On the basis of Piaget’s thought, he originated the theory of moral cognitive development. He focused on the research of moral education strategy in his late research ,so he improved Piaget’s“doll story”, and conducted the method of "moral discussion " in the school. After a series of experiments this method was proved to be the“psychologists’fallacy”, he created the“Just community”which is a democratic education mode of self- management in the democratic atmosphere. And the " Just community" not only had great success in the America and Europe, but also had special significance in the yield of moral education.There are two reasons of studying Kohlberg’s“Just community”. One is my interest, the other is that. many people can know this moral education strategy through my introduction .And more educators can apply it in the active moral education in order to improve its effectiveness.This paper will do some research from the following three aspects: firstly, the concept definition and theoretical construction involved of“Just community”; Secondly,the basic content of“Just community”including its structure, essence, representative experiment and evaluation, etc. Thirdly, reference suggestion according to the situation in Chinese universities.
