Laurence Kolberg is a famous American Developmental psychologist in last century.He made outstanding contributions in the field of moral education for children and adolescents.He inherited and developed Piaget's theory of moral development,and have caused a great response on the study of psychology and educational circles of the world.For the moral cognition,one of his research results is moral judgment theory.In the first half of the twentieth Century,Kolberg in the transformation of Western,especially in the children and adolescents moral education had made a significant contribution.The practice theory of moral education on school moral education have had a profound impact in the United States.While the middle school students are in self identity period which is a critical period to receive moral education.This paper tries to make this theory more scientific and systematic based on the combination of the present situation of Ideological and moral education in junior high school,and try to extract the essence of its theory and practice to give some enlightenment to the reform and innovation of moral education of middle school students in our country.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction.In the introduction,the author mainly illustrates the research background,research significance,literature review,theoretical basis,research methods and the shortcomings of this research briefly.The second part to enter the main part of the paper,this part makes a brief narration on the ideological and moral education of students.The author mainly discussed from the connotation of ideological and moral education of students,improve students' ideological and moral level and the significance of the present situation of our country's ideological and moral education of students.The third part is the summary of Kolberg's moral judgment theory of the second chapter.The author discussed mainly from its use in education,the working steps and characteristics of the theory,achievements and shortcomings.The fourth part is the enlightenment of Kolberg's moral judgment theory to middle school teachers in China.The fifth part is the strategies and methods to promote the middle school students' moral generation by Kohlberg's moral judgment theory.The last part is the summary,this part mainly summed up for this study,and prospects the future of this research,points out the inadequacies of this article.
