The strengthening and development of private higher education fromnow our country higher education sustainable development ability and economiccircumstances, it is the necessary choice of China higher education. Private universities inChina started late, financial resources are limited. At present, China’s education reform newprivate universities can not avoid some problems still exist, the school physical education inthe school the weak link in education in private colleges and universities in the currentsituation is worth studying.This research through the Ministry of Education approved the independent collegediploma issued Shanghai City Sports private colleges as the object, using the method ofliterature, questionnaire survey method, interview method, field survey, data statistics, caseanalysis and other research methods mainly on6private universities in Shanghai school sports,sports teaching sports management, sports teachers, extra-curricular sports and sports venuesand other aspects of the status of the investigation, using SPSS statistics software to carry onthe logic analysis and mathematical analysis, the results are as follows:(1) the Shanghaiprivate college sports administration system with three level management; sports teaching isless than144hours, the theory of class hours each semester for less than4hours, the numberof classes, the school sports teaching files are not available;6private universities in only50%of the school standing outside the movement; the high proportion of part-time teachers ofphysical education, physical education teachers working conditions and working environmentis not ideal; Shanghai Private College Stadiums in quality and quantity are not up to the requirements of the Ministry of education.(2) private universities management systemsupervision of favorable work of the school sports development; private colleges anduniversities personnel system flexibility for sports teachers team construction in privatecolleges and universities; school sports work has wide development space; private collegestudents autonomous sports ability.(3) the private college legislative lag; internalmanagement mechanism is not perfect; private university teachers instability phenomenon isserious; social idea is to restrict the main factors restricting the development of privateuniversities.According to the current Shanghai private college sports present situation, in view of thecurrent for the socialist modernization of our country ’s senior personnel training needs, putforward future sports private colleges development strategy:(1) extend teaching content,curriculum setting should accord with actual, pay attention to the factor of Civilian-runColleges and universities.(2) focuses on physical education curriculum system and teachingcontent reform, handle good strengthening basis and class relations.(3) the strict choice ofphysical education teaching content, according to the actual teaching needs, choose gooddevelopment of Shanghai private college students physical and mental health needs of sportsteaching materials.(4) to improve the quality of education in order to lay a necessary materialfoundation, must have steps, there are plans to improve the conditions for running a school.
