The effectiveness of moral education has been discussed and researched warmlyin the educational fields and the academic fields in recent years. The effective moraleducation is the goal that the moral education workers constantly pursuit, but also isthe inherent requirement of moral education itself. This article take the first SeniorHigh school of Lixin County, Bozhou, Anhui as a case, it discussed the necessity andurgency of enhancing the effectiveness of moral education. Through investigation andinterviews, it appeared the moral status of the first Senior High school of LixinCounty, summarized the middle school moral education achievement and inadequacy,analyzed the reason that the effectiveness of middle school moral education should beenhanced and gave the methods and approaches of enhancing the effectiveness ofmoral education.In the introduction of this article, first of all, it analyzed the background. Itthinks the effectiveness of moral education is the requirements of the times and moraleducation itself. It is useful to demonstrate the effect of moral education, to meet thechallenges of the times, to promoting the healthy development of students. It can beinternalized as a quality and externalized as an act, seize moral education as theopportunity to train students’ comprehensive quality and perfect personality, to payattention to the formation of good quality, the development of physical and mentalhealth, the smooth enhancement of ability, and so on. In short, it has some importantsignificance of theory and practice to use moral education to promote students healthyand orderly development of other aspects. Secondly, in the literature review, itsummed up the domestic and international research on the effectiveness of moraleducation, and was based on the summary of the theory to proposed its developmentspace: the domestic research status is firstly explored the cause of the lack ofeffectiveness of moral education, secondly, it researched the implementation ofmeasures on the effectiveness of moral education; foreign research status is payingattention to the role of moral education for life, advocating moral education for lifeservice, for social service, and stressing non rational consciousness plays an important role in moral education. Make a general survey of Chinese and westernmoral education, they emphasized the moral cognition and the ability of practice anddevelopment, unity of knowing and doing is one of the focus of moral education butalso one of the important ways that we can improve the effectiveness of moraleducation. This can improve the effectiveness of moral education. Finally, itsummarized and defined the concept and connotation of the effectiveness of moraleducation in order to correctly discuss this article to lay the foundation for moraleducation, but also to provide a theoretical basis that establishes practical ways andmeans for moral education.It analyzed the necessity and urgency of enhancing the effectiveness of moraleducation from the two respects of the objective basis and the realistic demand in thefirst chapter and thought enhancing the effectiveness of moral education was the callof the times and society, their own development needs of middle school students, theeducational aims and the needs of improving the effect of moral education. BecauseChinese traditional moral education has been facing many limitations and challenges,it has many defects, the effectiveness of moral education needs to be strengthened.These lay the groundwork for the following specific analysis of the present situationand the reason of moral education.In the second chapter, it showed the moral education situation of the first SeniorHigh school of Lixin County, Bozhou, Anhui through the way of diagnoses,explained the obtained achievements and existing problems from the school and thestudents own aspects. Achievement: school funding of moral education increased,forming the regular meeting system about moral education work. The construction ofteacher occupation morality is strengthened further and they pay more attention to thestudents that should be improved; On the side of the students: most of the studentsmaintain a firm political stand, their moral accomplishment is consistent with themainstream of social advocacy, their legal concept strengthens gradually and theybecome the strong desire. Existing problems: for schools, the position of moraleducation should be strengthened further, the situation that considers moral educationmanagement more important than personality formation needs to be improved, thesituation that moral education becomes a mere formality needs to be changed, the mechanism of moral evaluation should be further improved; for students, theutilitarian values tend of part of them needs to be improved, the self educationawareness of part of them needs to be improved, the moral will of part of them needsto be strengthened, the mental health of part of them needs to be paid attention to.In chapter third, it analyzed the reasons of the existing problem of the moraleducation in this school. It analyzed various factors restricting the effectiveness ofmoral education from the school, society, family, the combination of the three and thestudents themselves. For schools, the concept of moral education lags, the goal andcontent of moral education idealize, the method of education is mechanical andsimple; For society, moral education is negatively affected by western culture,economic environment and complicated information; from the combination of theschool, family and society, the moral education work of schools does not work outeffectively, the family education lack good ways, the effect of social education ispoor; For students, they lack the consciousness of self education, the behavior of selfeducation and the atmosphere of self education.In the beginning of the fourth chapter, it provided, taking into account theexisting problems of the effectiveness of moral education, the practical methods andapproaches of perfecting moral education theory, updating the moral educationconcept and making moral education goal optimal, from updating the moral educationconcept and making moral education goal optimal; Secondly, form innovating themoral education content and closely relating to the students’ real life, it providedmoral education curriculum system of making the content of moral educationreturning to life and constructing the students’ physical and mental development,making using of the function that the disciplines educate students. Thirdly, fromreforming the moral education methods and approaches, it provided the view that weshould carry out various practical activities, we should set an example for students toaffect them by environment, we should improve the effectiveness of moral educationthought mental health as a breakthrough. Fourthly, from improving the assessmentsystem of moral education, it provided the view that we should positively find thestudents’ advantages to pay attention to the evaluation object, we should writeencouraging reviews and optimizing evaluation method to estimate specialty students. Finally, from combining family, school and society to form the resultant of moraleducation, it thought that we should enhance the positive role of family in moraleducation, enhance the positive role of social in moral education, enhance the positiverole of combining family, school and society together in moral education, and so on,it provided the ways and means enhancing the effectiveness of moraleducation..The emphasis of this article is that it gave the approaches solving the problem ofthe effectiveness of moral education by analyzing the problem of the first Senior Highschool of Lixin County, Bozhou, Anhui, to strive to make moral education becomethe pursuit of our better life, to play its due role, embodies its value. Its difficulty ishow to construct really effective moral education modes,. This topic, usuallydiscussed, showed the burden is heavy and the road is long.The innovation of this article is making restrictive moral education developingmoral education, making the moral education the humanities concern, payingattention to life education, the education of ideal and belief, honesty education andmental health education, and strive to make the moral education an attractiveeducation, let moral education be students’ intrinsic things, thereby enhance itseffectiveness.The basic point of this article is we shouldn’t take moral education as the aimitself, but as a means achieving a better life, pay attention to students’ actual situation,really solve the puzzle of students’ life, Interpret the social phenomenon, Deal withthe real problem, help students develop good habits, have a healthy psychologicalquality and have full spiritual life in order to make students get the thinking habits,attitude and life criteria, which benefit them all their life. So that the students arehelped to enhance the realm and taste of life and improve the quality of life.The method that this paper collected: Survey method, interview method, dataaccess method, statistics method.
