Nation image is the international community relatively stable evaluation about acountry. Some element like politics, economic, culture, military, diplomatic and manyothers is involved, these element constitute a country’s overall image. The publicoutside through a variety of ways to know about a country, people not just receivedthese information but process it by the brain, and, these processed information is hisperception about the country. Much of time a country’s image is far more differentbetween inside and outside community.Through the investigation about ASEAN student of Guangxi province by sendingquestionnaires and interviews to understand what China image is like from the foreignstudents’ view. After all the data were arranged we found that foreign student have adifferent impression about China image before and after they came here, and the latteris more better then the former. Further analysis found that students from differentcountries, through different ways to know about China and whether these studentscould have a good adapt to the life of study abroad or not, may lead different views tothe image of China.Today, in face of the development of globalization and the world’s discourse rightis still occupied by developed countries, if we want to let more people to know aboutChina, except the media way, promote more contact with other countries is also agood way. By this point, foreign students play an important role in spreading the trueimage of China. Chinese relative department make good use of these foreign student,promote communication between Chinese and foreign students in order to provide agood environment for foreign students to better understand and spread and constructChina image.
