Research On Issues And Countermeasures Of ASEAN To Guangxi Foreign Student Education

With the pace of internationalization of higher education continuesto accelerate, more and more attention on foreign students education,foreign students education has also been some developments. From theview of quantitative point, our foreign students only1236people in1978,after thirty years of development, in2013the number of foreign studentshas reached35.6million,288times than1978.For the purposes of Guangxi, as the forefront of connecting ASEAN,Guangxi has become clearly strengthen China and-economic andcultural cooperation among the member countries of ASEAN Free TradeArea of the bridgehead, the number of ASEAN students to study inGuangxi have increased year by year, and the possession absolute scale.2000to only544students, of whom339students artificially ASEANcountries, ASEAN countries the proportion of students reached62.32%,and by2012this proportion has been as high as93.3%. Meanwhile,Guangxi and ASEAN countries in the expanding market of internationalstudents has a geopolitical, cultural and other advantages, ASEAN marketshould be student education as a key market development.This article focuses on ASEAN countries to conduct Guangxistudent education problems and causes of discourse analysis, whichdiscusses issues in the main to be corroborated by the survey data. Finally,the corresponding countermeasures for improvement exists to Guangxistudent education development. I hope through this research can expandthe ASEAN source market offers students a reference to further promotethe healthy development of Guangxi student education.
