Although Yili has a longhistory, masses foundation is good, and the best climate, geography, and theadvantage, but the horse racing industry is still in the initial stage of development,throughout the world, the sport of horse racing has become a leisure and culturalactivities, and has powerful financing function, become contemporary economy in theindustry of a pillar, to economic, social development and the prosperity of sportsfacilities has tremendous effect. Horse racing development trend, it can create greatwealth, and can drive a series of industry development, current to our country to solvethe economic transformation, agricultural structural adjustment, play a decisive role.From current Yili horse racing development starting with the status quo, reveals ourracing development factors, and to provide theoretical basis for horse racing.This research mainly uses the literature material law, questionnaire survey method,case analysis, mathematical statistics, interviews and other research methods, on theYili racing movement development present situation research. The results show:(1) the Yili area residents on horse racing concerns: Yili area residents on thesport of horse racing interest high, masses foundation is relatively good, differentnationalities on horse movements like degree different, in numerous people, to thesport of horse racing in the highest concern, and the national culture.(2) athletes: athletes from most of the folk custom, his horse, not be very goodtraining, literacy rate is not high, professional athletes rarely, professional athletedevelopment is at development stage.(3): most coaches coaches as double identity, both coaches and athletes, income isnot steady, no high training security, cultural degree is not high.(4) sports field and equipment: the ground relatively large number, but aprofessional point of view, the specifications of the racetrack with almost no, most field is a field site, equipment shortage, local to existing racing venue utilization rateis not high, there is unused the phenomenon; field investment limited.(5) Regulations: Xinjiang Yili horse racing venue development has not been thelocal government take seriously truly, regulations and policies are not sound enough,in practice the lack of strength，effects of the Yili Jockey Club Sports Sustainabledevelopment.(6) Industrial Development: lack of business ideas, did not form a perfectbusiness system, the horse racing industry development limited.Through field investigation found,horse sports participation opportunity for thenational festival, relatives and friends happy days and government organization seriesgame; participation motivation is to promote local tourism and trade, enhancevisibility, enhance physical and health and entertainment through the game to obtainthe corresponding material rewards, horse sports funds the main source forgovernment funding; farmers and herdsmen do not understand most of the sport ofhorse racing rules, but their interest to the sport of horse racing has been very high,but not the horse as his lifelong career.
