In recent years, the new-era college students has gradually become the main bodyof the university campus and drawn social concern. Each generation has its spirit andstatus symbol. To these of “the new-era college students” who were born at the times ofthe further deepening of the reform, especially the in-depth reform of the social marketeconomic system, the higher education, and the multicultural era of collision and whogrow up in the Internet age with smart phones, e-books, micro blogs and QQ, thechanges and information affect their value orientation and even the formation of valuesand guide their behavior through various channels and ways. Their interest demands onthe jobs differ greatly from different generations, their values towards professionchange as well. In the mean time, the new-era of college students shoulders thehistorical task of deepening the reform and promotes socialist modernization. Whetherthey can establish a positive work value will have an important impact on our country’sfuture development.Therefore, it is of great significance to study the characteristics of the work valuesof the new-era college students and to educate and guide the new-era college students toestablish a scientific work value, which is explored in the thesis on the basis ofinvestigation and soft topics of the Internet Corporation.The thesis is divided into four parts:Part I: Introduction. This part introduces the background, objectives, significance,ideas and methods of the research, analysis of focal and difficult points and itsfeasibility so as to lay a solid foundation for the empirical study of the status quo of thenew-era college students’ work values.Part II: Review of relevant literature both home and abroad. Based on relevantstudy of work values and perspectives by Chinese and Western scholars, this partdefines the basic meaning of the new-era of students and their work values and reviewsthe research of domestic and foreign new-era of college students’ career values thusproviding the theoretical support for the empirical study of the work values of new-eracollege students.Part III: the status quo of the new-era college students’ work values. On the basisof the questionnaire, this part firstly adopts statistical analysis to analyze the students’work values in total and probe into the disparity; secondly, this section summarizes the characteristics of the new-era college students, such as the multi-level and high level ofprofessional needs, the diversification of work values, yet the focus of self-work valueorientation, the contradictions and complexity of the career choice, the increasingconcern for enjoyment and welfare, the lightening of the sense of responsibility and soon.Part IV: The study of educational countermeasures to the new-era college students’work values. Combined with the analysis of the status quo of the new-era collegestudents’ career values and aiming at their characteristics, this part proposes the trainingmeasures and suggestions to the work values of new-era college students from theperspective of higher education including three aspects: the content, the form and theenvironment of education.
