The concept of “higher vocational education” is really some Chinesecharacteristics. The training target of higher vocational education is raising applied andtechnology talents who has a particular career theory knowledge or professional groupof required comprehensive vocational ability, for the production and management of thefirst line service, both have general culture theory foundation and certain professionalpractice foundation comprehensive talent is an important part of higher education.Course is the core of the school education, the school curriculum is the blueprintfor future training talents, the curriculum construction is the core of the whole teachingplan. Any education mode and education thought change will carry out the core ofcurriculum. If without substantive reform, teaching reform is not likely to be successful.Physical education is an integral part of the higher vocational colleges sports curriculum.How to adapt to the characteristics of higher vocational colleges and the development isthe problems of current higher vocational college physical education curriculum. Highervocational colleges sports course is the final stage for students to take the school sportseducation, and also the last moments for training students physical education concept is,sports habits and sports ability. It is significance for the formation of physical healthconsciousness and lifelong sports ability.So, there is a certain positive meaning for the sports course arrangement of highervocational colleges to further deepen the reform of physical education curriculumteaching and implementation of quality education,This paper mainly use the method of literature,interview,investigationquestionnaire,data statistics, logic analysis and other methods, part of the highervocational college physical education course project teaching goal setting status statussports venues students teachers with equipment and other content analysis of theinvestigation, looking for now appeared higher vocational colleges in Chongqing sportscurriculum setting of deficiency, and according to the existing problems,this paperrecommendations for higher vocational college sports education in Chongqing ofreform and development for reference.This article through the investigation and analysis,the conclusions are as follows:First, the Chongqing in higher vocational colleges sports curriculum setting ofexist certain blind set in the actual process of running a phenomenon, due to the restriction of the running mode, often altered or set up the course survey found,curriculum is more, but the teachers by teaching facilities in the limit, the actualteaching can not meet the needs of the students.Second, Chongqing higher vocational colleges in the curriculum in the less clearpositioning, curriculum setting still apply the ordinary university curriculum mode, noreflects the characteristics of its own.Third, Chongqing sports course target in higher vocational colleges are establishedhealth education and lifelong physical guiding ideology, but in the teaching practiceimplementation is not enough, curriculum is more onefold, lacks higher vocationalcharacteristic.Fourth, the importance of higher vocational sports is not enough, most of theschool sports courses not running at108hours, the traditional teaching method gets old,sports theory classes can’t reach health education requirements, achievement evaluationsystem and single.
