| This study collates and summarizes previous research on reading behavior, and selectsout four representative and measurable reading behavior which are analyzed: sight trajectorybehavior, feedback behavior, the choice behavior of the content presentation and information-acquisition behavior, and then uses the experimental method to analysis the differences ofthese four behaviors in two presentations which include the text interface and the multimediainterface. Used in this study are the experimental materials of science and technologyclasses. The results show that:①On the text interface, the reader’s feature oftrajectory of sight moving is linear; on themultimedia interface, the reader’s feature of trajectory of sight moving is non-linear.②On the multimedia interface, readers’ reading effect is better than it’s on the textinterface, and readers’ feedback behavior of saying "yes" for providing the correct answer ofquestion is more than on the text interface.③On the text interface, readers are inclined to choose the literary classof materialstoread, while on the multimedia interface, readers are inclined to choose materials of technologyclass and popular science class to read.④In the case of reading effect roughly equal,on the text interface, readers’ total fixationduration and times of fixation which are revealing readers’ information-acquisition behaviorare both more than the multimedia interface, while readers’ saccade distance which arerevealing readers’ information-acquisition behavior is less than the multimedia interface. |
