In recent years, along with the development of economic and social transformation, the acceleration of urbanization, the surplus labors in the countryside shift continuously and the number of left-behind children is growing. But being apart from parents, being lack of love, and lack of effective educational measures as their agents, most of left-behind children are alarming. The rural education of left-behind children faces serious challenge. These have attracted some attention of the whole society that how to make the left-behind children education issues into the overall objectives of economic and social development, and properly solve the problem of left-behind children education.Based on some investigation reports of the left-behind children, I try to look for some commons and differences through rural comparative study of left-behind children reflected in families, in individual aspects (mental, learning and moral status), and in the school. Thus I will make a preliminary thinking and discussion about the rural education problem of left-behind children (mainly from family, school and society’s Angle). And I propose some political, legal measures and suggestions on solving the educational problem of the left-behind children finally.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly expounds the problem (rural education), the research status on the educational problem of left-behind children at home and abroad, and the research importance and research methods.The second section of the paper mainly involves some related concepts and theories.The third part expounds some existing educational problems of the rural left-behind children. These mainly involve learning, moral, psychological part, and safety aspects. The fourth part analysis the causes on the educational problems of rural left-behind children, by comparing with some investigations.The fifth part is to solve the problems of rural left-behind children education under the background of urbanization. Firstly, the paper discusses some principles about the solution of the problem of rural left-behind children education, and proposes some political, legal measures and suggestions combining the actual situation of China finally.Through the study analysis on the education of rural left-behind children, the main conclusions are as follows:Studies suggest that education research left-behind children has important theoretical and practical significance.The results show that the rural left-behind children education have many problems and is worrying.Rural left-behind children education causes more complex problems. The main factor is dual domiciliary system.According to the present situation of rural education left-behind children situation, the paper proposes the principles and concrete Suggestions:Solving the problems of rural left-behind children education should grasp some principles from the macro and micro level.Some specific countermeasures and suggestions on solving rural left-behind children education problem are put forward from the government system, school, family and self level.Based on the theory of education and related discipline theory, the education for rural left-behind children was discussed. And its research and innovation are proposed mainly from theory and research framework, research methods, etc.
