An Investigation Report On Rural Left-behind Children’s Socialization Under The Background Of Urbanization

Since the1980s, with the economic boom, the rapid advance of urbanization and modernization in China as well as the existence of economic and social structure of urban and rural dual system, the rural left-behind children’ socialization problems come into being gradually, which are especially prominent in Feixi County, Anhui Province.Based on this, the investigation report firstly introduces the problem consciousness of the investigation and the relevant definition of basic concepts. Next, the main content, object and methods of the investigation are introduced. And then, the research results are expounded, including the size, health status and the advantages and disadvantages of the rural left-behind children’s socialization in Feixi County, Anhui Province. Finally, it analyses the social causes of the rural left-behind children’s socialization problems in terms of family, school, peer group and mass media, etc. in the conclusion part. Meanwhile, some specific operational suggestions are put forward respectively from the two aspects of short-term problem relief and long-term fundamental solution.
