A Study On Political Participation Through Internet Under The View Of Ideological And Political Education

The rapid development of Internet technology has changed people’s way of gettinginformation. To keep up with this pace, China has been establishing political participationplatforms on the Internet, the information distribution center, and has set up a convenientcommunication bridge between the government and its people. During the four years’development, political participation through internet has not only become the new Channelthat leading cadres at all levels observe the people’s condition, learn wisdom, andcommunicate with people, but also has become a new platform for the masses of the people toexpress public opinion and resolve livelihood issues. This paper regards“politicalparticipation through internet”and“ideological and political education”as related researchobjects, analyzing the development process of China’s network political achievements andcombining our traditional historical and cultural background, using of Marxism theory, MaoZedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory ,“Three Represents”theory and scientificdevelopment concept to comprehensive, to finally look at Chinese“network politics”phenomenon and try to put the ideological and political education concepts into the networkof political process, and improve the network politics in China. First of all, under thebackground of Chinese culture, according to the source of the word“political”, combining"political participation through internet in our country’s course of development, the paper getsthe finding that“political participation through internet”concept and graphical model withChinese characteristics. Secondly, by combining with a series of guiding ideology of our party,the paper discusses the relationship between "political participation through internet”anddemocratic politics and tries to find a theoretical basis for“political participation throughinternet”in our country. Thirdly, the paper analyzes the necessity and importance of theideological and political education in the process of network politics. From the perspective ofideological and political education, finally, the paper analyzes the content of ideological andpolitical education in“political participation through internet”, and develops some methodsfor ideological and political education in network politics. In a word, the "politicalparticipation through internet" as a new political way for our government, not only requiresthe regulation of policies and laws, but also needs ideological and political education to improve the integrative quality of Chinese people and make the democracy and rules of lawwith Chinese characteristics deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
