The Study And Practice Of Developping Evaluation Towards Students In Biology Experiments Teaching

The curricula evaluation innovation is an emphasis on the new course reform. The traditional curricula evaluation emphasizes the function of distinguishing and selecting too much. It neglects the development of the students and has a disadvantageous effect on the students'overall development . The new course reform advocates development evaluation. It thinks evaluation has the same function as teaching itself. The evaluation system should provide efficient information, insight and guidance and it should embody the idea of hunanity centre , build up personality and explore the potential of the students. It should meet the demands of student and help students realize themselves.The development evaluation of the new curricula obtains teachers' agreement.Biology is a subject based on experiments. It is an impotant method to help students obtain biology knowledge, explore investigative ability, establish scientific spirits and attitudes. The current biology experiment teaching methods don't play a full role due to being lack of effective evaluation system. According to the above phenomena, based on the new curricula concept, this text takes the first step in researching senior biology experiment teaching method, illustrating its purpose, function and construction, designing an adoptable evaluation rubric.(Senior biology The People's Education Press). The author has carried out practical investigation to two classes with a period of four months. These two classes have average abilities. They are appointed as experimental class and instructed class. The experimental class is evaluated by the new curricula evaluation and the insrcuted class by the traditional evaluation. During the experiment process, a comparison is made between these two classes . The result is as follows:the accadamic contents: Senior One first term data analyze:T-test,chi square test.The result shows: the development evaluation does good to improving students'experiment ability. It also benefits for forming correct attitudes towards experiments.
