Manchu is one of the two ethnic groups unified in China. There isno doubt that it is worthwhile to study national identity and nationalspirit, which have a relation with its rapid rise. At the same time, it isworth learning from its experience. The maintain of the Manchuethnic characteristics is closely related with , unique folk customs aswell as Manchu’s grandeur culture. Among these folks, it cannot beignored that Manchu traditional folk children’s games play animportant role in the heritage of national spirits and the penetrationof national morals. It made a great contribution and has great value.But what worries us is that the tradition culture of Manchu hasdeclined under a strong offensive in a foreign culture. Manchu’s folkculture and information lack of sorting and the research is not enough.Consequently, the study is based on the moral value of the Manchutraditional folk games of children. In this study, the one purpose is todo the finishing of the Manchu ethnic data work, another and moreimportant purpose is to tap the strengths of the analysis of the Manchu in the moral education of children in order to supplement andimprove the moral education theory, and provide a reference and animportant reference for the practice of moral education work.Through studying Manchu traditional folk children’s games, thisstudy is to discuss the retention of the Manchu ethnic characteristicsand the heritage of ethnic spirit. Besides, it analysis its value onchildren moral education. It not only organize efforts to save theManchu folk materials, but also provide a reference for the practice ofmoral education, and promote the diversity of moral educationculture.The first part claims how games pass down the outstanding moralcharacter of Manchu through analyzing the moral value of theManchu games. It mainly describes the representative of the braveand enterprising, hardworking, solidarity, honesty andtrustworthiness, etc, especially focus on quality. And it combinesspecific children’s play to analyze the role and value of heritage in thequality of these games played.The second part make a comprehensive and objectiveassessment of both positive and negative aspects about the moralvalue of the Manchu traditional children folk.Combination oftraditional folk moral theory and practice analysis Manchu children’splay to the strengths and weaknesses of the moral education of children in order to avoid weaknesses and shortcomings, and proposeimprovements to better child guidance practice of moral educationthrough research and analysis, allowing researchers to theconclusion more operability. And based on the theoretical analysisand summary,it provides a new way of thinking about the expandingof the content of moral theory and research methods.The study adopts historical documents and refers to someLiterature and research works about Manchu political, economic, andfolk culture. Besides, it collects the relevant information of sortingthe origin and development process of the Manchu traditional folkchildren’s play.Combined with field survey, it investigate the currentsituation of Manchu ghetto children’s games,and ask Manchucompatriots to do the surveys and interviews,and it aims to grasp thehistory and situation of he Manchu traditional folk children’s gameson the whole.The study has two innovations. Firstly, it not only analyzes therelationship between children games and children moral educationthrough analyzing the essence of children games, but also claims themoral education combined with specific games. Secondly, based onthe moral value of games, it made a deeply analysis and summary ofthe moral practice of the Manchu, which is a minority. Theconclusions of the study enriches the content of national ethics and moral theory. At the same time, it guides the moral practice ofmodern children based on the operability of the moral practice ofgames. The disadvantages are that Manchu literature collection isnot comprehensive enough, and it needs to discuss the origin anddevelopment of some of the Manchu games. When I doing the fieldsurvey, the major objects of observation and interview areconcentrated on the Manchu people in northeast and Beijing region,so it lacks the understanding of current situation of children games ina large range.In a word, this study is based on the moral value of Manchutraditional folk children’s games. Combined with several typicalManchu traditional folk children’s games, it discusses the moral valueof games. It riches the research contents and methods of moraltheory with the moral research of national games. At the same time,it provides a useful reference for children’s moral practice.
